Name of post:  Child Development Project Officer & allied Cadres under Social Welfare Department, Assam

No of posts:  73 [UR: 30, OBC/MOBC: 20, SC: 5, STP: 7, STH: 4, EWS: 7]

Salary: Rs. 22,000 / - to 87,000 / - and grade pay Rs. Other allowances of PB-3 9,700 / - as admissible under the rules.

Age: Candidates should not be less than 21 years old and should not be more than 38 years on 01-01-2019. Discounts are allowed in upper age limit-

(i) For the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates for 5 years, that is, 43 years.

(ii) For OBC / MOBC candidates for 3 years i.e., according to the government, for 41 years. Notification no. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated April 25, 2018, Dispur.

(iii) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) up to 10 years of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes and as per the general category of candidates of the Government. Notification number ABP 144/95/121 dated 28 October 2015 Dispur.

Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce from a recognized University and moreover any one of the following qualifications:

•     Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Social Works / Labor & Social Welfare / Sociology / Anthropology / Criminology.
•     Graduate in Child Development / Home Science / Nutrition or
•     Bachelor in Psychology, Economics with Philosophy / Education.

APSC Child Development Project Officer Application Fee:

According to the government. Notification No. FEG.32 / 2016/8-A dated Dispur dated 28th October, 2016, the application fee for all the posts was communicated under the State Government on letter no ABP.60 / 2014/11 dated 2 February 2018. Assam is shown below:

1. For General Candidate: Rs. 250 / - (Rupees two hundred and fifty).

2. For SC / ST / OBC / MOBC: Rs. 150 / - (one hundred and fifty rupees).

3. Candidates possessing BPL certificate: Nil (candidates with BPL certificate produce photocopy of certificate along with application form).

4. According to the government. Candidates for the application fee for all posts under the State Government for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) dated 24 October 2015, notification no. ABP 144/95/121. Assam is blue. PWD candidates should attach the necessary certificates from the competent authority with the photocopy application.

Fees showing the name of the post and department should be deposited through treasury challan only to the account of "NON TAX REVENUE, head of other NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT". The original copy of the Treasury invoice should be deposited with the application form (first time applicants).

Note: As per the notification number 5 / PSC / DR-61/1 / 2011ated-2019 dated 13 June 2019 of this office, the candidates who had already applied in response to the advertisement no. 01/2019, February, 2019 , They are not required to pay the application fee again while applying again. They will have to submit proof in support of payment of the fee along with the application form, ie self-attested photocopy of the earlier treasury challan.
