The Assam Skill University Project (ASUP) is an Asian Development Bank (ADB) supported project for the establishment of Assam Skill University to fill gaps in the provision of multidisciplinary skill education and training integrated with higher education, conduct applied R&D, and raise skill levels in various industries of Assam and the North-Eastern region.

Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM), Government of Assam is the Implementing Agency for ASUP. ASDM intends to recruit personnel in various posts for the Project Management Unit (PMU) purely on a contractual basis for ASUP.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) Recruitment

Deputy Project Director: Master’s degree in social sciences, engineering, education, and any other relevant field of studies. At least 10 years of work experience in which five years must be in a skilling institution.

Finance Manager: Chartered accountant with a master’s degree in business studies. At least 15 years of experience in Finance with work experience in ADB or World Bank-financed projects.

Accountant: Chartered accountant with 10 years of experience as an accounting professional. Able to prepare a full book of accounting.

Skill Manager (Service Sector): Master's degree in any service sector field of study. At least 15 years of work experience in a service sector company. Five years of experience working in an institution of skilling/training.

Skill Manager (Engineering Sector): Master's degree in any service sector field of study. At least 15 years of work experience in an engineering sector company. Five years of experience working in an institution of skilling/training.

Procurement Manager (civil & consultancy): Professional procurement qualification with a Master's degree in engineering. Minimum 10 years of work experience with at least three years working on a project financed by the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, or other multi-lateral organization.

Procurement (Training Equipment): Professional procurement qualification with a Master's degree in engineering. Minimum 10 years of work experience with at least three years working on a project financed by the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, or other multi-lateral organization.

Communication Manager: A master's degree preferably in marketing communication. At least 10 years of work experience in the media industry.

Civil Engineer: Master's degree in civil engineering. At least 8 years of work experience as a civil engineer with a reputable civil engineering company.

Gender & Indigenous People Specialist: Master's degree in social science. Five years of experience in gender / indigenous people work. Experience working on ADB-financed projects or other multi-lateral organizations.

Environment Specialist: Master's degree in environmental study. Five years of experience in environmental risk assessment. Experience working on ADB-financed projects or other multi-lateral organizations.
