In view of the unprecedented Covid-19 surge, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has decided to vaccinate all Indian citizens in the age group of 18-44 years. For this purpose, the registration for vaccination against the Covid-19 infection for all above the age of 18 years began today (April 28) at 4 pm on the Co-WIN portal and Aarogya Setu app.

Online registration for the COVID vaccine will be accepted through Co-WIN’s official portal. Indian citizens above 18 years of age are now eligible for vaccination from 1 May 2021. Interested individuals are able to register their names through the official portal to avoid queuing at the vaccination center.

Age Limit: Currently, online registration is being received only from persons whose age is more than 18 years on the day of vaccination.

Covid-19 Vaccine Registration Online

To avoid the coronavirus, you have to get your registration done online. After online registration, you will have to go to your private covid vaccination center and get the vaccine. If you do this, then it will be easy to avoid this disease. You can register online with Aarogya Setu App and Umang App. Then you must first download this app on your phone, after downloading you can apply for vaccination. You will also get complete information about it from the online portal.

You can check how you have to register by going to the online portal. For this registration, you will need your phone number which is in use. Through a phone number, you can register only four people with their own photo ID. For the residents, you must be above 18 years of age and below 45 years, only those whose age will be as per the prescribed age will be vaccinated. Get your vaccination done soon and get rid of this disease.

Is vaccination free at all vaccination centers?


Currently, vaccination is free at government hospitals and charged at INR 250 in private hospitals for citizens aged 45 years and above. This will cease to exist from May 1, and even those above the age of 45 years will have to pay at private facilities that cost fixed by the private hospital.

For people between 18 to 44 years, the States will announce the policy relating to payment. Govt. of Assam has announced that they will offer it for free at government centers.

Documents: To be vaccinated, all individual have to produce/ possess anyone of the following documents -



a. Aadhaar card


b. Driving License


c. PAN card


d. Passport


e. Pension Passbook


f. NPR Smart Card


g. Voter ID Card (EPIC)




Mobile Number: All individual wish to register themself for online vaccine registration must have an active mobile number to register their name. A number can only be used for a maximum of 4 persons.

How to Complete Online COVID 19 Vaccine Registration




  • Click on the Corona Vaccine Registration link.

  • An official page will load. Enter your 10 digits Mobile No. and click on Get OTP button.

  • Enter your 6 digits OTP from your mobile and click Verify & Proceed.

  • Click on +Add Member button. Choose your suitable Photo ID Proof from the list.

  • Enter your Document’s NumberName (as in Document), select your Gender, enter your Birth Year (YYYY).

  • After that click on Add button. After successfully adding of your name, you will be redirected to Dashboard.

  • Now, click the Schedule button and click the yellow-colored Schedule Now button.

  • Now, enter your nearest Post Office’s PIN and click the Search button.

  • You will get a list of your nearest COVID Vaccination centre's name.

  • Click on any yellow-colored button to book an appointment for the vaccination.

  • That’s all. This is the entire process of online registration for the COVID vaccine
